Alloy is all about actions. Whether you need to launch an app or automate many repetitive and complex tasks - Alloy makes it simple and handy. So if you need to post today's photos with added watermark to Facebook, send canned SMS to someone, save your parking place and time, etc. - just create corresponding actions and use them again and again.
Alloy
Alloy greatly simplifies launching and organizing of apps, actions and complex workflows. No more need to browse through several pages full of apps to find an app or action - dynamic Favorites would provide you just right set of needed apps and actions based on your habits, location and usage statistics. You can even use your favorites right from other apps using Alloy Widget.
I’d actually recommend Alloy over Workflow because it’s more powerful... Alloy and Workflow offer their own unique perspectives on how to boost your iPhone productivity through automation and they ultimately work well.

Any Alloy's Action can be launched from Siri simply by speaking certain phrases. Optionally, Actions can be launched in background in Siri, letting Siri to present Action's result in-place.
You can even use Alloy Favorites right from any other apps or from the Home screen by employing Today Widget. Just pull-down the Notification Center, navigate to Alloy Widget and tap to a desired action to launch it.
Alloy includes an Action Extension that allows launching Alloy's Actions right from other apps. This allows to use Actions to utilize or alter data provided by those apps.
It is possible to easily utilize content provided by Actions and send that content to iMessage recipients with help of Alloy iMessage Extension.
Glances allow to present Actions on screen with brief summary of information obtained by the Actions. Sample Glances would be: weather forecast, stock quote, time left, last tip calculation etc.

It is possible to add actions for other apps by knowing their URL Scheme.
